SQLWays 4.0 Converts Embedded SQL and Database API

Ispirer Systems Ltd., a provider of cross-platform database and application migration solutions, has released SQLWays 4.0, a new version of its migration product. SQLWays converts Embedded SQL and Database API in Java, C/C++, Web, PowerBuilder in other applications.

SQLWays 4.0 is capable of converting embedded SQL and database API code in Java, C/C++, ASP.NET, VB, PowerBuilder and other applications. Developers do not need to extract SQL statements from applications and convert them separately. SQLWays can parse application code - Java, C++, PowerBuilder i.e. - extract and convert SQL statements.

For C/C++ applications, SQLWays can convert not only SQL statements but database API as well. For example, SQLWays supports conversion between ODBC, Oracle OCI, Oracle Pro*C, Sybase CT/LIB and other interfaces.

Besides embedded SQL and API conversion, SQLWays allow developers to migrate database schema, stored procedures, triggers between major databases including Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, IBM DB2, Sybase, Informix, MySQL, PostgreSQL, Teradata and others.

SQLWays now includes new UI tools - SQLWays Studio and SQLWays Commander. SQLWays Studio is a useful tool to manage migration projects, while SQLWays Commander is useful and productive when you need to convert standalone files and scripts.
